Hangin' with the pros

Today we went to Fox 2 KTVI for a tour. It was a lot of fun, and it wasn’t your ordinary, here’s the set, here’s the control room..bla bla bla…, we got to do more than that and shoot a package about Julie Beard’s J-term class.
When we first got there, we all sat in the waiting room and Julie talked to us about what all her J-term class does. Then we all went inside and started the shooting process. We learned about how reporters and anchors blog about their story experiences and all the other things that are on the myfoxstl.com website.
Then, a few of us interviewed some people for the package; I interviewed Patrick O’Brien, the web producer, and one of the students Sarah Meadows. We only got to ask a few questions because everyone had to do the interview together; it was a lot of fun though.
After that, we all went into the studio and posed for our Kodak moment. After we got through all 150 cameras, we went outside and shot our stand ups. I thought I did fairly well, but I have a problem with doing my stand up more than three times without messing up. I can do the stand up 3 times flawlessly, but if asked to do it anymore, I lose my train of thought; I really need to work on that. So anyway, I did it about three times perfectly except I needed to walk a little further, but I couldn’t do it anymore after that. Oh well.
