The First Day!

The first day of class went really well. We talked about the requirements of this class and received the 12 day calendar. Also, we learned a little about packages, talked about our speaker Virginia Kerr and practiced news anchoring on the set of LU-TV26.I am really excited for this class. At the beginning of the class today, Professor Schroeder told us that she came up with the idea of this class by thinking of everything she didn't learn in college. I was thinking the same thing, that they teach us all the technical elements but not anything else. I am very excited to take this class because it is going to answer all of the questions I had in my head every time I anchored the news.
